20-Somethings Bible StudyHi! We’re Jon, Payton, and Maddie—the leaders of a 20-somethings co-ed Bible study for people who want to grow in faith and do life together. We will be walking through the book of Romans with honest discussion, Scripture-centered teaching, and a strong emphasis on trust and community. We’re an ongoing group with a consistent crew of about 12–16 people each week, and we love doing fun things together outside of Tuesday nights, too. If this sounds like a good fit for you, we’d love to have you join us!
30-40s Coed Singles - Mandy's groupJoin a co-ed singles group for men and women in their 30’s and 40’s. This group is a great way to get to know other Christians and grow in your faith. I am excited for a bible study and the opportunity to dive into the book of Daniel. Each member should purchase the book, A Deeper Look at Daniel by Douglas Connelly. This book can guide your Bible reading for the week. On our weekly Wednesday meeting from 7-9 pm, we spend some time getting to know one another and then we will discuss the passages from that week’s reading. We also get together for social activities: game nights, snow tubing, playing the initials game (trivia), and bonfires.
50's and 60's Sermon DiscussionWe will build community through discussion of the sermon, activities outside of the weekly group, and focused prayer. This group will meet every other Tuesday.
A Biblical Study of the Unseen RealmThis is an in-depth study of The Unseen Realm by Dr. Michael S. Heiser that will strengthen your faith in Christ and help you appreciate God’s amazing unchanging plan in a whole new way. Confusing passages will make sense when viewed through the eyes of an ancient Israelite, and you will never read your Bible the same way again. The late Dr. Heiser was a respected scholar of Hebrew Bible and Semitic Languages whose gifting was to make serious Biblical scholarship available and relevant to ordinary Christians like us. The study takes about 2-3 hours of prep each week, but whether you’re brand new or very experienced studying the Bible this is a spiritual game changer. You’ll need to purchase the book (usually under $20); study material can be downloaded at no cost. Learn more by sampling first four chapters on Amazon.
A Date with the AuthorWe have three virtual meetings and one in person "Date Night" per month. In our virtual Zoom meetings we discuss the current books we are covering during Tara-Leigh Cobble's "The Bible Recap" which for this session we will be touching on Leviticus, Numbers, Deuteronomy, Joshua, Judges, I Samuel, some Psalms, and some I Chronicles. (We started the Bible Recap plan on January 1st!) We will often watch videos from the Bible Project as well! On our "Date Nights" our activities vary! We have had bonfires—"S'more Jesus!"—we are planning a soup, salad, and bread dinner night on March 12th, and have ideas ranging from sharing meals, arts and crafts, volunteering, movie nights, bowling and more! We also sometimes will add in extra group activities as we stumble across opportunities. Virtual Meetings start at 7:30 PM, and in-person nights start at 6:30 PM.

Art and Gardening for HealingThe experience of making or simply appreciating art can be healing. In times of stress, the act of creating (whether a drawing, painting, collage or a garden) is calming and restorative. God, our Creator, the original Artist, is our Healer, and therefore it is healing being in the presence of His creation. We will explore various examples and ways in which the arts are healing, as well as the advantages of keeping house plants, plus house plant care. Esther's arts background includes a multi-disciplinary degree in drawing, painting, graphic design and photography. Her career path has also included dance performance and instruction. She has been entranced with art, plants and gardening since the age of five, and is a lifelong learner in all things art.
Biblical FatherhoodStudying the values of fatherhood in a biblical sense through the direction and examples laid out in the Bible.

Chosen & Cherished – Moms of Special Needs ChildrenSpecial needs moms, this is a virtual group to provide a Christ-centered fellowship. Through fellowship, we find comfort in knowing we don’t walk this journey alone. This group is intentionally set up to be virtual so you can come exactly as you are — in the middle of real life. We will be using the book Bible Promises for Parents of Children with Special Needs by Amy E. Mason, a fellow special needs mom who understands this calling. Each week, we will reflect on a few verses together, then choose one Scripture that speaks personally to our hearts and carry it with us throughout the week. Our prayer is that this group becomes a place of connection, strength, and renewed hope — rooted in Christ and grounded in His promises.

Created to Strengthen your Walk with GodIn this small group you will learn about your special uniqueness.   We will use Bible verses, the bridge illustration that Jason talked about, thoughts from the book "God is with you Everyday" by Max Lucado and examples from art.   Goal is to help each of us grow in our daily walk with Jesus.
Dementia Support GroupWe are a group of three married couples navigating the dementia journey, and we would love to add one more husband and wife team! Our purpose is to discuss daily life challenges, offer support and encouragement to one another, share scripture, and pray for one another. The dementia dynamic may not allow both partners to fully participate, and that is perfectly fine! One important aspect of this group is to provide a "safe" place where we all can experience biblical community. A little background about us: my husband, Mark, was a pastor for 33+ years, retired, and was then diagnosed with Lewy Body Dementia 5 years ago. I worked outside the home while supporting the ministry through worship leading, serving, and hospitality. We have one son, a daughter-in-law, and a grandson. We look forward to meeting you!

Divorced and Single DadsWe are fathers who have experienced the pain and trouble that comes with divorce and separation. In this world, a lot can go wrong by going through this thinking you are alone. We are here to comfort and challenge our dads to be above the fray and be the best fathers possible throughout it all. We strongly encourage all dads to participate in DivorceCare as part of their healing journey. I was fortunate enough to have five really good men come along side of me during my divorce years ago. Through their guidance, I was reminded that whatever my kids hear and see from me can be either uplifting or devastating through this process. Our group meets every other Sunday in Hugo, MN. We also serve at the Union Gospel Mission (University Ave. location) on the 3rd and 4th Thursday evening of each month.

Holy Land Virtual Tour99% of people who experience the Holy Land say it has profoundly affected their faith - but not everyone can go to Israel. Instead of spending time, money, and energy on travel, together we will join Dr. Wayne Stiles for a virtual tour of the Bible lands. Our virtual tour will combine new videos with the latest in technology to bring you on location where we will dig deep into God’s Word to understand the biblical truths connected to each site. Just in time for Easter, we will begin along the VIA DOLOROSA – the way of the cross – as we trace Jesus final days leading to His crucifixion and resurrection. This is like the History channel meets the Bible; only better because it includes the opportunity to get to know others, share prayer requests, and search for practical truths that shape how we live today.
How Do We Live as Christians?Life as a Christian seems simple enough. After all, “Follow me” (Matt 4:19) is one of the foundational commands we’ve been given. But follow who? And follow where? Surely there’s more to it than that, right? In this six-session series, pastor and bestselling author Kyle Idleman will help us answer the question, “How do we live as Christians?” While following Jesus is our first and most important marching order, Kyle will help us answer some of the other questions that follow and that are essential to living faithfully as Christians. Regardless of where we’re at on our faith journey, Kyle will teach us what it looks like to live a Christian life.

In the Word Tuesday MorningsPeter writes this letter “to stimulate wholesome thinking” (2 Peter 3:1 NIV). He uses the Greek word eilikrines, which means ‘sincere, pure, wholesome, flawless.’ The literal translation is ‘sun-tested’ or ‘sun-tested’ – it refers to holding a piece of pottery up to the sun to reveal cracks, flaws, and hidden defects. Wholesome thinking produces wholesome faith. But how do we acquire it? Peter reminds us that God “has given us everything we need for a godly life” (2 Peter 1:3 NIV). Come join us. Next Gen DadsNext Gen Dads is a group for dads in their 20s-30s who want to grow as men of God without the pressure of being perfect. We will walk through a study on key characteristics of spiritually grounded men and talk honestly about what that looks like in real life as husbands, fathers, and leaders at home. So come as you are, lets grow together, and build a legacy for the next generation.
Next Level FaithAre you seeking a more experiential relationship with God? What might your faith journey look like if you could hear God and then KNOW what he wants you to do next? If you knew, how courageous you would be? While we may never come across a burning bush (like Moses) or be blinded by a bright light on the road to Damascus (like Saul), I'm confident that God is eager to communicate his wisdom and guidance to us as we face not just the big decisions, but also the ordinary life challenges each day. This group is for folks at every stage in their walk with Christ; from newbie to veteran. Session materials will be supplied. Plan to obtain and carry a small notepad with you every day.
Nourished at The TableInspired by the way Jesus gathered with the people He loved—around a table, sharing food, conversation, and truth. Each week we’ll enjoy a simple, nourishing meal while growing deeper in faith, friendship, and understanding of the book of Mark. This is a space to slow down, be known, and be spiritually + physically filled. Come hungry for connection, encouragement, and the word of God as we learn to live well from the inside out.
One AccordHello, my name is Benjamin! Acts chapter 2 teaches that living in one accord (unity) is not just about agreeing-it's about sharing a common life centered on Jesus and empowered by the Holy Spirit. In this 10-week virtual small group, we will focus on how to live in one accord through being filled with the same Spirit, following the same Jesus, and committing to love one another and our neighbors in practical ways. When this happens, the church becomes powerful, generous, and deeply attractive to the world. Our group meetings will center on building Christ-centered relationships, studying God's Word, prayer, and practically serving one another and our city. Will you join me on this journey?
OUR FAM (Outstanding, Unique, Resilient, Foster and Adoptive Moms)Being a Foster and/or Adoptive Mom comes with a unique set of challenges, and my goal is to spend time encouraging and praying for one another as we do life together. Whether you have grown children, teenagers, elementary age, preschoolers, or even if you are waiting for a placement, your perspective matters. You might be navigating the licensing process or waiting for the call or in the trenches of appointments, meetings, and court appearances. God sees all that you are doing and the work you are putting in, and He wants to use it for His glory. So come share your story and be seen by others who have taken on similar "trials of many kinds."

After a time of connecting with one another, we will try one or more prayer experiments each week. We will share prayer requests and bring them to God during our group time. These prayer experiments are meant to expand our relationship with God. "As we listen and respond to God, He may use us if we are available to be a part of the answer to our prayers." - Rhea Zakich. This group will meet 4:15-5:45 PM at the YMCA (no guest pass needed to attend the group). For children up to age 8, Child Watch is available for $20 per child per day (free for Y members) across the hall starting at 4:30. Singles 30s & 40s Book Study: The Benefit of Doubt by Craig Groeschel (Elk River)This small group is for singles in their 30s and 40s who want to explore faith in an honest, thoughtful, and meaningful way. In this study of The Benefit of Doubt by Craig Groeschel, we’ll create space for real questions about God, belief, uncertainty, and spiritual growth. Doubt doesn’t have to be something we hide or fear. Together, we’ll look at how wrestling with hard questions can actually strengthen our faith and deepen our relationship with God. Through discussion, reflection, and community, we’ll encourage one another to move forward with confidence—even when we don’t have every answer. We meet weekly on Mondays at my home in Elk River. If you’re looking for authentic conversation, spiritual growth, and connection with others in a similar life stage, this group is for you.
SouthpawsModern life often overloads us with choices. What we think, how we act, and, ultimately, where our lives are headed are all influenced by what we value. For Christians, if we aren’t intentional with our choices, we can wind up far from where God intends us to be. In this five-session series, author and pastor Rich Villodas will teach us about the formative choice we face: Will we walk the narrow path of Jesus or the broad path that leads to despair? While the narrow path may seem restrictive, when we walk it with Jesus, we will find the fullness of life we long for.

The Ruthless Elimination of HurryWe’re all busy. Some of us can't remember the last time we rested or even had free time. Living at a frantic pace can feel productive, but it’s really a toxic distraction, sapping our spiritual, physical, and emotional vitality. It may seem like we have no choice but to live this way, but God has a better path for us. My name is Steve and I serve as one of the pastors at Eagle Brook Church Minneapolis Campus. Will you join me for this 5-session study based on John Mark Comer’s book “The Ruthless Elimination of Hurry?” In this study, John Mark will address one of the greatest threats to our spiritual lives: hurry. Instead of allowing our calendars and screens to control our lives, Jesus offers us a better rhythm of life overflowing with grace, peace, and beauty. Our meetings will include time for connecting in relationship, a short (10 min) video by John Mark, discussion based on the video and key Scriptures, and prayer. Reading sections of John Mark’s book between meetings is recommended but not necessary.

We will share and celebrate our past gardening successes while helping each other prepare for the upcoming summer gardening season. If you are planning to grow veggies/flowers for the first time this summer or if you are a veteran, I’d love to have you in this group! NOTE, I planted my first vegetable garden 3 years ago & I’ve only led a study group a few times, so if you are looking for either a master gardener or a biblical scholar, you may want to keep looking. My name is John Arnold and I’ve attended Eagle Brook w/ my wife, 15 yr old son & 13 yr old daughter for ~6 years. “I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth…”, Genesis 1:29. Thursdays 7-8pm Central.

War Room PrayersInspired from the movie “War Room” by Alex Kendrick (highly recommend watching if you can!), we will meet every other week to explore what Jesus and the Bible says about prayer. We will work on creating our own “war room” prayer strategy and bring ourselves, our lives, and others before God so that he can do only what HE can do. Please make sure you can attend most if not ALL Wednesday night meetings before joining the group so all can experience an intimate and trusted setting to grow in prayer. I truly believe our lives and relationship with God will grow amazingly as we build a foundation for genuine prayer. Children are welcome. My 3 yr old will be playing as we talk. See meeting dates and times.
Western Wisconsin Women: Messy Faith, Real Life (Study of 1st Corinthians)Together, we’ll walk through 1 Corinthians using the RightNow Media study by Jennie Allen, exploring what it means to live for Jesus instead of ourselves. The church in Corinth struggled with division, pride, and living a “Christian” life shaped by the world — and if we’re honest, many of us can relate. Through Scripture, discussion, and fellowship, we’ll look at how the truth of the gospel and the power of the Holy Spirit call us to choose Jesus daily, even when faith feels messy. This group values authentic conversation, grace, and community. You don’t need to have all the answers — just a willingness to show up, listen, and grow alongside other women. We look forward to meeting you!
Winning the War In Your MindWe will be reading through the the book Winning the War In Your Mind for our book club focused on personal growth, mental health, and faith. Together, we will encourage one another, share insights, deepen our faith, and build meaningful friendships. This is a relaxed, supportive space for thoughtful conversation, prayer, and connection.
Women's Book StudyWe will read and study the book "Untangle Your Emotions" together. Author, Jennie Allen, uses research, biblical insight, and her own story to help us understand how God can use our emotions to help us see where we need His healing. Jennie Allen provides a five-step process to help identify what we feel and what to do with our emotions. This book will offer wisdom as we discover how to name and navigate our emotions while we learn how they can draw us closer to God. I’m opening this group to women who want to grow together this season! We’ll meet Mondays from 5:30–6:30 pm at the library. If you can’t make every week, you’re still welcome to join. Come when you’re able, and I’ll send a weekly summary email so you can stay connected if you miss a night.
Working Women's Small GroupLet's support each other and grow together in our faith as working women. We will use Jennie Allen’s study, Restless. Whether you feel restless now or have wrestled in the past, that might not be a bad thing. When our restlessness awakens our longing to be woven into God's story, it can launch us into living the life of purpose God designed for us. Jennie uses the story of Joseph in the book of Genesis to explain how his suffering, gifts, story, and relationships fit into the greater tapestry of God's narrative.
